Auditions
I WANT TO AUDITION LIVE IN BARDSTOWN!
To request an appointment for local Bardstown auditions, email with SUBJECT: LOCAL AUDITION TIME.
*Adult and College Performers may request either the 10:00 am or 11:30 am audition block.
*High School and Youth Performers will be assigned to the 1:00 pm audition block.
Audition times will be assigned and confirmed on a first come, first served basis.
I WANT TO AUDITION VIA VIDEO!
We will be accepting virtual video auditions for principal roles and ensemble dancers now through February 23, 2025.
You may submit via our casting breakdown on Actors’ Access or you can find our season’s casting breakdown and character audition materials HERE.
Please look at the character you feel suits your abilities best and follow the instructions located in that character’s folder.
All submissions will be done through the online form listed in the character’s instruction guide. Follow the link above for access.

Audition Details
WHAT DO I PREPARE?
For in-person auditions, please prepare two contrasting songs (16 bar cuts) and a 30–60 second monologue.
You may be asked to read sides from the shows in our season – which will be provided at the audition.
A piano accompanist will be provided. Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key.
A short dance call will be held after each audition group, please bring appropriate attire to change into.
WHAT ABOUT CALLBACKS and OFFERS?
If needed, additional information will be requested via e-mail. There are no scheduled callback dates. Once you have submitted your video or auditioned in person, you are in full consideration for the season and have nothing left to do!
Our season begins rehearsal on or about May 28th and we hope to have all offers out by the end of April.
