New York City-based actor Madison Alexander is gearing up for a vibrant summer season in Bardstown with the Stephen Foster Drama Association. This summer, she’ll shine in the cast of both “The Stephen Foster Story” and “The Little Mermaid.”
Returning for her second year, Alexander will play Jane McDowell in “The Stephen Foster Story” and join the ensemble of “The Little Mermaid.”
“I am thrilled to return to Bardstown and be part of the incredible legacy of the Stephen Foster Drama Association,” Alexander said. “Playing Jane McDowell in ‘The Stephen Foster Story’ and joining the ensemble of ‘The Little Mermaid’ is an honor, and I can’t wait to bring these beloved stories to life for audiences this summer.”
With a BFA in Musical Theatre from Ithaca College, Alexander has showcased her talent in roles such as Catherine in “Pippin” and Mother Superior in “Sister Act.” Last year, she captivated audiences as the namesake character in “Cinderella” and Lucy Leoyne in “The Stephen Foster Story” at the J. Dan Talbott Amphitheatre.
