A FUN, FALL, COMMUNITY EVENT TO CREATE A DRIVE-THRU DISPLAY OF SCARECROWS AT THE AMPHITHEATER DRIVE
ABOUT
Bardstown Scarecrow Trail is a fundraiser for The Stephen Foster Drama Association (SFDA), a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Arts Organization producing The Stephen Foster Story, Live at the Park Concerts, and Broadway musicals; and a venue for local arts performances.
The parking lot of The Stephen Foster Story Amphitheater will be lined with fun, colorful, whimsical scarecrows for guests and local families to drive through and enjoy. Scarecrows are sponsored by local businesses or organizations. (Sponsor a scarecrow.) Visitors will be able to vote for favorites and winners will be determined in multiple categories.

- Details: Visiting the Bardstown Scarecrow Trail is FREE. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to The Stephen Foster Drama Association to ensure that this new event becomes a tradition – in the way that their shows and concerts have entertained our community and guests for decades!

VOTE
Once you’ve seen all the amazing scarecrows, it’s time to pick your favorite! Cast your vote to help crown this year’s most whimsical, charming, or spooky creation. Voting opens Oct. 6 and runs through Nov. 7.
Sponsor
Promote your business and organization as part of the Bardstown Scarecrow Trail! Local businesses and organizations are invited to participate by sponsoring and/or creating a scarecrow to feature on the trail. Check out the available sponsorship levels:
- Premium Scarecrow Sponsorship – $250
- No height limitation, flexible width limitation
- With your sponsorship, you will receive a space to display the scarecrow that you build and enter. You will also receive a large sign promoting your business or organization that will be placed near your scarecrow.
- Standard Scarecrow Level – $150
- 6′ tall and 6′ wide or smaller
- With your sponsorship, you will receive a space to display the scarecrow that you build and enter. You will also receive a sign promoting your business or organization that will be placed near your scarecrow.
- The Easy Way – $350
- Promote your organization and support SFDA with a scarecrow, but don’t want to build it; SFDA will produce a scarecrow to be displayed along with your sign.
- NOTE: SFDA will have creative control of scarecrow.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
- Complete the online sponsorship registration form
- Design and build your scarecrow; (Check out the details, timeline and tips PDF)
- Drop off scarecrow for install by September 22
- Encourage attendees to vote your scarecrow as the best!
