Fans of rock music from the 1970s will have the chance to hear a jam-packed set of classic cover tunes as the Classic Rock Experience takes the stage Friday, Aug. 15 at My Old Kentucky Home State Park in Bardstown. The show is part of the 2025 Budweiser Live at the Park Concert Series, an annual series hosted by The Stephen Foster Drama Association (SFDA).
Inspired by 70’s arena rock legends Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Boston, Styx and other classic icons, the Classic Rock Experience presents an authentic rock concert performing some of the greatest classic rock anthems of the 1970s, including “Immigrant Song,” “Young Lust,” “Separate Ways,” “Blue Collar Man,” “Smokin’,” “Point of No Return,” “Shambala,” “Kashmir,” “Smoke on the Water,” “Feels Like the First Time,” “Killer Queen” and more.
“Fans of 70s rock won’t want to miss this performance,” said Johnny Warren, Executive Artistic Director for The Stephen Foster Story and SFDA. “Experiencing these classic songs live in our incredible outdoor amphitheater is sure to make for an unforgettable evening.”
